Your Prayer Today Impacts Tomorrow

March 01, 2017

Matthew 18:20, “Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.”

Mark 11:24, “Therefore I tell you, all the things you pray and ask for- believe that you have received them and you will have them.”

1 Thessalonians 5:16, “Rejoice always, pray constantly.”

I John 5:14, “Now this is the confidence we have before Him: Whenever we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.”

The Bible speaks multiple times on the power of prayer and at MCWA we believe in the power that it holds. We have the opportunity to sit at the feet of God and make requests to Him for His people.

Over the last few weeks we have asked fellow prayer warriors to partner with us as we pray for the work being done in Cameroon.  This is the 20th anniversary of the WDOP and we have many reasons to rejoice in the Lord and the good He has done in Cameroon, through our team, and in the hospital.

In 1997, our chief of staff at the time Dr. John Baigent started WDOP. This did not mean that westerners came together to pray for the world, but that people around the world came together to pray for Cameroon. Dr. Baigent and his wife served with MCWA for 11 years and have left a legacy in Cameroon and around the globe with WDOP. After 20 years, we are seeing fruit from these prayers.

Last year we recognized prayer groups in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, the UK and China.

If you are not already a part of a group we strongly encourage you to join one! What better way to be a part of His work then to intercede on the behalf of those 6,000 miles away. You can email us at media@mcwanet.org or find an open prayer group below.

WDOP is Sunday March 5, 2017. Times and locations of prayer group may vary.

MCWA Headquarters will be hosting a group in the prayer room at The Chapel at the Oaks.

If you are a part of The Refuge College Ministry, contact Steve or a Summer Project team member for more information of their meeting.

New Life Church will be open to the community for those who want to join them in prayer. Contact Roxanne for more information on attending.

Community Bible Church will also be hosting, contact Julie to meet her group.
